Finally I decided to break out and share myself with the rest of Second Life, which thus far has been a huge success. Until recently, I spent most of my time in the game alone, building and decorating, which is a very lonely thing to do in a social game. My SL character is a vampiric Malkavian neko, and this is about 99% of the time unless under special conditions. No matter what I am wearing, there is always some degree of attitude carried with each outfit that I believe helps me stand out no matter where I am. I suppose this is where my RL carries over into my SL, as my style is also much the same IRL. I wear things I think look nice, I wear things that promote what I enjoy in life. My clothes are an outside mirror to myself for the world to see. I guess it changes depending on my mood, depending where I am or what I am doing. If you asked me what my favorite outfit I owned was, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. I enjoy looking like the kind of girl you might not want your parents meeting. Regardless, I firmly believe my “style”, if you wish to call it that, is as outspoken as I am. Such things require one as myself to learn how to modify many of the things I wear and also limit me to certain things I can wear in SL (due to size warps and such). Unlike most of the Amazonian barbies in SL, my Avatar is merely 5’4″ tall with a pale complexion and busty curves. This said, I would by no means say I do it by the rule book or norm as I believe many try for. Taking such pride in her name, I do my best to carry on such beauty and unique quality as she once did. Nefertiti was arguably one of the most, if not the ultimate, beautiful women that ever graced this place called Earth. I found both fitting for a Malkavian Neko such as myself. I pulled it from the Mistress of the Nile herself, Nefertiti, and the last name reminded me of “Khajiit” which are cat people in the popular Elder Scrolls series. I guess a good place to start about myself would be my name: Neferi Chajit. During our conversation she showed her sharp mind, humor and tongue – the purrrrfect Post 6.3 Grrrrl. And not one of the Neko fulldressers either – one of those kitties shopping a complete outfit in a store and slapping some ears and tail on it – but a mix and match of clothes and accessories that give her this unique mischief maker look. The thing about Neferi’s avi that struck me first was her shape, not the ordinary SL gazelle but a busty babe with just the right amount of curves and a height that’s perfectly normal in RL but almost seems childlike for SL avis. You could even use this to write your own manga comic! This game has been immensely popular ever since its release and it's been a joy to see Rin and Prince of Red Roses add themed updates.Neferi Chajit – Post 6.3 Vampiric Malkavian Neko Grrrrrlīy Alphaville Herald on 10/06/08 at 7:33 am And then there is a plethora of cool stuff to hold, even light sabers! Complete your scene with a wide selection of backgrounds, many inspired by Japan. There is an entire "without item" section for making adorable poses. I think the chibi sheep are just the cutest ever, although the llama, kitten and bunny are also in the running. You can layers tops with vests, collar, outerwear, accessories and scarves! The accessories section is incredible. Many of the tops come with a gender toggle so they can be worn by men and women, or just specify body type. The selection is staggering!
